Over the weekend, I attended the Miramar Airshow (cause 'Murica!) While there, over in a fairly empty corner I noticed an interesting display. It was Elio Motors showing off one of their prototypes and a pre-production models. Someone call Cletus because the prototype was using the engine from an old Geo Metro.....
Anyway< had the chance to set in them, Mr. Ontop Jr. crawled in the back seat just to see what it was like. I've got to say, it was a different feeling car, but if that little motor will be enough to get it to highway speed, I could see using it as a single person commuter, so long as they are able to keep that price around what they say it is going to be, $6800. According to the marketing people there, it is supposed to go on sale early next year. What are your thoughts Oppo?
